B. Then, write the value of the variable.

1. 2(8 + p) = 22

2. 5(a - 1) = 35

3. 15 = -3(2q - 1)

4. 26 = 6(5 - a)

5. m + 5(m-1) = 7

6. -4(x + 6) = -40

7. 48 = 8(x + 2)

8. 5(y - 3) = 19

9. 5(2 + y) = 77
